DCI kenya officers nabb vehicles stolen from Interpol


Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Thursday, March 7 confiscated three luxury vehicles believed to have been smuggled to the country. The vehicles, were nabbed while in transit on their way to Uganda.

The three vehicles collectively valued at 20 million included a Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Vogue and Land Rover Discovery.

“Three vehicles confirmed stolen in INTERPOL’s Motor Vehicles data base, have been intercepted by Detectives concealed in two containers on transit to Uganda from the United Kingdom,” the statement read.

The vehicles were reportedly concealed in a container which was supposed to be ferrying household goods Investigations have since commenced to nab individuals involved in smuggling of vehicles into the country.
