HIV patients Raise Concern Over increasing shortage of ARVs
A group of HIV patients in Nairobi have decried the ARV deficiency in the county hospitals.
While addressing journalists, the group cited various challenges that they say affect people living with HIV among them, harassment by the management of hospitals that do not accept the NHIF medical cover.
They now want the government to put in place measures that will carter to their needs and see that they are well fed.
“We need drugs and food, not food supplements, most of us can’t even afford food.” Said one of the patients.
